Reuben V. Quiroga

Reuben V. Quiroga finished his degree in B.S. Physics in San Carlos in Cebu. He subsequently pursued graduate studies at the University of the Philipines. Later, he studied advance Semiconductor Physics as British Council scholar at the Brunel University in London, England. He was also a Mombusho scholar at the Wasida University in Tokyo, Japan from 1986 to 1987. The following year he obtained his doctoral degree in Physics at the University of the Philippines. Then, he became the chairperson of the Physics department of the De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila City.

Significant researches of Mr. Quiroga involve conductive polymers, narrow-gap semiconductors and high-temperature superconductors. He was also a participant in the Australian International Development Program on 1990.

Mr. Quiroga, along with Mr. Gil Nonato Santos, is the popronent of "An Investigation of the Electrical and Transport Properties of Bulk Pb1-xSnxTe Crystals" a research project conducted at the school year 1990-1991
